Exploring the flora in and around Portage, AK this past summer (BSA 2022)
I am currently a postdoc in the Plant Biology Department at the University of Georgia, working with Drs. Lisa Donovan and John Burke. I received my PhD in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at the University of Connecticut, working with Dr. Kent Holsinger.  I consider myself a plant ecologist, but broadly my research interests center around exploring local and regional patterns of biodiversity across geographic and evolutionary scales, and investigating the mechanisms that have led to and maintain current species assemblages.
