I am currently a graduate student studying in the Holsinger Lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department (EEB) at the University of Connecticut.  I consider myself a plant ecologist, but broadly my research interests center around exploring local and regional patterns of biodiversity across geographic and evolutionary scales, and investigating the mechanisms that have led to and maintain current species assemblages.
